What first comes to your mind when you think of Easter?
Growing up in a very religious setup, I always think of Easter as the conclusion to the most sacred week of the year – The holy week.
Starting from Maundy Thursday until Good Friday, the passion readings of the life of Jesus Christ or “Pabasa” fill every corner of the village. Then followed by the traditional reenactments of the life and times of Jesus Christ on Good Friday until Easter Sunday.
Moving down under and having kids of my own…
When I think of Easter now, I think of eggs!
These eggs come in the form of chocolates which are everywhere in the shop. They also come in different shapes and sizes.
From a Christian point of view, Easter eggs symbolize “new life” representing Jesus Christ’s rebirth from the death and resurrection.
Aside from the traditional and spiritual meaning of Easter. Easter has become one of the happy and exciting times of the year for kids.
This is the time when the family gets together on a long weekend holiday as well as the much-awaited easter egg hunting which is organized either outside or inside homes.
If you are up to a more exciting and thrilling way to organize your Easter egg hunt for your little armies, you are welcome to stay and avail the resources I am about to share.
