Step 1 of the M.I.N.D.S.E.T Approach© – Mindshift.
“Changing our minds is easy but shifting our mindset is a different story.”
– Mary Ann Paras, MAP
I am sure we have changed our minds at some point or every so often. I do it multiple times every single day.
But, a shift of mindset toward positive improvement is a critical change.
It requires persistence, consistency, grit, and determination.
Mindshift is a way of thinking and redirecting your focus and perspective to a higher purpose.
I consider this the most vital step of the Mindset Approach© to get and maintain organized habits and spaces.
Growing up from birth (in the care and presence of our parents and families), we learned about cultures, beliefs, and thoughts that may not necessarily be imposed on us but were over time ingrained in us through constant exposure.
As we grow older, we experience more in life and meet more like and not-so-like-minded people. We create beliefs that may not necessarily be true or helpful in our quest to find the calm and peace of mind that we want.
In this blog post, allow me to break some myths for you and open your mind to facts that will give you a broader perspective to assist you in taking the leap of faith in the process of organizing and productivity.
The majority of this quote was based on my own learning throughout years of trial and error and some was inspired by experts before me.
